About the Opportunity

Assist with the consolidation, intercompany reconciliation and elimination process including the review, reclassification of fees and posting manual entries.
Process revenue fees such as letters of credit fees (including the billing, reconciliation, and distribution of outstanding letters of credit listing).
Assist with the corporate revenue and reforecast process.
Prepare journal entries, month end schedules, working papers and reconciliations.
Prepare variance analyses for various expenses
Conduct monthly reconciliation of select balance sheet accounts and proactively resolve accounting discrepancies.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual internal/external reporting and internal audits.
Liaise effectively and collaboratively with other departments regarding accounting matters and respond to transactional accounting questions and issues.
Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
Other duties/projects as required

About You

End of CPA process
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience required; commercial real estate experience preferred
Minimum 3 years of variance analysis experience in a multi-business unit setting required
Minimum 3 years of consolidation experience in a public company setting preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Advanced Excel required
Knowledge of current accounting practices and principles (IFRS & GAAP)
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Highly flexible with a “can-do” attitude.
Able to manage the pressures of month-end and quarter-end reporting cycles.
Collaborative, analytical and independent thinker who works well within a team or as an individual contributor.
Experience with Yardi, JDE and Hyperion are strong assets.
Experience working through an accounting system conversion is an asset.

Pay Rate
$35/hour
