Senior Associate, Finance (Closed)

About the Company

Our client is an established equity firm and they are looking to hire a Senior Associate to join their Finance team. This role will be reporting to the Finance Director and will be responsible for the operating companies of the private equity funds.

About the Opportunity

• Prepare monthly billings to third party operating companies and internal entities
• Communicate and resolve billing and/or invoicing matters with investment team members
• Lead monthly reconciliations of Cash, Accounts Receivable and Intercompany balances, and other general ledger accounts
• Prepare monthly lead sheets
• Execute daily accounting tasks, including preparing and entering journal entries, banking wires and deposits, and coding of invoices
• Analyze income statement accounts and explaining and documenting variances
• Support other projects or other related duties as required and assigned Assist Financial Reporting team with financial statement notes and MD&A disclosures
• Prepare the standalone separate statutory financial statements

About You

• CPA or CPA in progress
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial accounting environment with full cycle experience
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (direct and efficient)
• Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, ZAP BI or Oracle Hyperion Financial Management, is considered an asset

Salary Range

$70,000 - $80,000/year
