About the Opportunity

Our client, a non-profit organization that is changing lives through the use of technology, is looking for a Junior Front End Developer to join their growing team. You will be creating user-friendly web applications and building robust, accessible front-end code. Applicants should have expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and mobile first Responsive Web Design using progressive enhancement techniques.

About You

• Exposure to NodeJS
• Expertise in relational database design and management, primarily using MySQL
• An understanding of usability, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility and semantic markup
• Experience with mobile first, progressively enhanced responsive web design
• Experience with front end technologies like JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3, XML
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, or DurandalJS
• Experience with mobile web development is an asset
• Experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly applications like: Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash Professional (ActionScript AS3), etc.) is an asset

Pay Range
$55,000-$60,000/year
