Financial Application Analyst (Onestream) (Closed)

About the Company  
Our client is a large manufacturer, and they are looking to hire a Financial Application Analyst (Onestream).

About the Opportunity

• This is a hybrid full time position, with 3 days per week in Richmond Hill office
• This position will work along one other person to work with an application call OneStream (https://onestreamsoftware.com/) which is a budgeting/planning/consolidation) cloud software which is similar to Hyperion Enterprise / HFM
• We are looking for someone with a mix of functional and technical experience with these types of systems, someone who can help the business use the software in the best way possible - from reporting to support, training, data cleanup, working with dimensions, rules, Bi viewer, dashboard manager, etc.)
• This person needs to understand accounting concepts to be able to work with finance users on configuring the software properly and providing the right reporting/data that is requested
• The data deals with financial statements, DSO, inventory, margin, AR/AP, etc
• Preferably this person would have had exposure to SQL, maybe experience with implementation/rollout of HFM or Onestream where they had to do QA/UAT and had to be involved in technical configuration/development of the systems

• Functional understanding of accounting concepts (e.g., sales/revenue, inventory, margin, statements, AR/AP/GL, etc.)
• Experience with Hyperion Enterprise/HFM or Onestream applications (budgeting/planning)
• Experience with building reporting/BI/dashboards/SQL within the above tools (eg BI viewer and Dashboard manager in Onestream or Smartview in HFM)
• Experience dealing with finance/accounting users (training, support, config)
• Good communication and presentation skills
