Financial Analyst, Treasury

About the Opportunity

• Complete treasury activities including account administration, prepare of daily cash reports and cash activity on a weekly basis
• Obtaining quarterly credit ratings on existing short-term deposits and bank accounts for Audit Committee reporting
• Assist with cash forecasts and other financial planning activities
• Track cash flow hedges and assist with accounting and recognition of hedging activity
• Assisting with other analysis, including account reconciliations as required
• Preparation of all aspects of valuation and accounting for stock-based compensation (US GAAP and IFRS) which include awards such as employee and non-employee Stock Options, Restricted Share Units, and Stock Appreciation Rights
• Preparation of EPS disclosure including the calculation of Weighted Common Shares Outstanding

About You

• Post-secondary business degree and/or an accounting designation with 3-5 years of financial accounting
• Proficiency in accounting, and the ability to offer assistance on accounting functions
• Excellent organizational skills
• Highly efficient, with strong attention to detail
• Ability to stay focus on tasks, particularly while battling with meeting up with deadlines
• Basic understanding of business processes, revenue and disbursement cycles
• Highly data proficient with advanced Excel and Access skills and other software
• Ability to analyze financial data and interpret into both verbal and narrative form
• Strong analytical, financial and systems skills are required
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus
• Prior experience with bank and debt capital markets and documentation a plus, but opportunity to learn for right candidate
• Impeccable integrity and trustworthiness
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact at all levels of the organization

Salary Range

$75,000 - $80,000/year
