About the Opportunity
- Month End analysis of Inventory related accounts and other cost of sales accounts.
- Report on profit in inventory
- Calculation of DIOH and inventory by brand/customer
- Inventory adjustments by type
- Fees and freight chargebacks
- Record Month end adjustments for supplier rebates and other accruals
- Prepare summarized reports for monthly close meetings
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- Assist in preparing material for monthly inventory review
- Manage a select portfolio of LTC customer rebates
- Analysis of warehouse adjustment activity to ensure proper timing and chargebacks
- Finance liaison for regional warehouse inventory activities
- Annual budget for OCOG’s and service fees
- Vendor rebate reconciliation, analysis and reporting
- Participate in various business transition activities such as on- boarding of new suppliers and changing business processes to accommodate
- Yearly analysis and calculation of Transfer Prices for related party items
About You
- Self starter, detail oriented and a natural sense of curiosity and thirst for learning
- Comfortable with tight deadlines and multi-tasking
- Can handle volume of worksheets and transactions
- A good communicator with a positive attitude and a service mindset
- Bachelor Degree in business/commerce/finance
- Enrolled in or recently completed CPA
- A minimum of two (2) years’ progressive experience accounting required with a focus on inventory
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with senior management
- Advanced level proficiency in MS Excel and experience working with data warehouses
- Hands on experience with JDE strongly preferred - SAP a nice to have
Pay Rate
$25 - $30/hour
