About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Assistant Manager (Strategic Finance & Planning), the FA will be responsible for analyzing performance, communicating results and assisting in financial due diligence on the company’s decision-making process. The position provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with department leaders and will play an integral role in providing financial analyses on all matters that drive business results

• Financial Planning – Manage the company’s financial planning process for budgets, reforecasts and financial projections. Responsible for quantifying the financial impact of business initiatives, recommending viable options and validating key assumptions. Manage the budget and reforecast timelines, submissions and scenario analyses
• Financial/Strategic Analysis – Understand the big picture outlook, risks & opportunities in order to provide strategic insights & financial analysis that support key business decisions
• Variance Analysis – Analyze monthly, quarterly and yearly results against prior year, budget/reforecast & investor expectations. Provide deep insights by understanding, analyzing and explaining variances while providing tangible recommendations for improvement

About You

• Obtained or are pursuing a CPA designation and have successfully passed the CFE
• 1+ years in a financial role Big 4 firm preferred
• Exceptional analytic and financial analysis skills, ability to dig into detail without losing sight of the big picture
• Strong financial modelling skills
• Excellent time management skills Ability to multi-task with multiple deadlines and prioritize crucial deliverables
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Salary

$65,000/year
