Financial Analyst (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Provide comprehensive finance support including budgeting, forecasting and reporting for assigned business segments/units
• Provide in-depth variance analysis on all components of EBITDA for assigned business segments/units. This will require working with various functional support groups within the organization including but not limited to Sales, Trading, Risk, Settlements, and Financial Reporting
• Develop financial models to understand the impact of short term operational and long term strategic decisions on enterprise value
• Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for assigned business segments/units
• Increases productivity by developing automated financial modeling and coordinating information requirements
• Maintains FP&A database by entering, verifying, and backing up data
• Assist the business with financial modeling and business case development on potential investment opportunities including new products, capital expenditures, acquisitions and third party partnering
• Support various ad hoc financial analysis requests
• Identify and drive opportunities to improve the financial performance of the business
• Drive financial and operational process improvement initiatives

About You

• CPA designation is an asset
• Willingness to put in longer then normal hours
• Results oriented
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint 
• Excellent problem solving, organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong financial modelling skills
• Analytical thinker who excels in a deadline oriented environment
• Accepting and willing to take on both complex and simple tasks
• Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills

Pay Rate

$33/hour
