Our client is a large retailer with stores located across Canada. This private company is looking to add an Financial Analyst to their finance team to be responsible for all aspects of the financial reporting.

About the Opportunity

• Monthly reconciliation of the inventory subledger and the financial general ledger
• Daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring and resolution of exceptions
• Support A/P in the monthly reconciliation of invoices
• Reconcile all inventory related General Ledger accounts on monthly basis
• Coordinate and execute the physical inventory count process
• Reconcile counts with teams, review proposed adjustments, posts and check adjustments
• Support the annual external audit
• Monitor (compliance) and support supply chain and retail operations
• Prepare inventory related reports to assist management in making informed business decisions

About You

• CPA (CGA, CMA preferred)
• 3+ years retail/CPG experience
• Experience in an inventory costing role
• Strong Excel, analytical and business process skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary Range

$60,000 - $75,000/year (strongly dependent on candidate experience)
