Financial Analyst - 12 Month Contract (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Serve as lead liaison for financial and managerial reporting requirements and production
• Analyze organizational data and provide recommendations on internal reports
• Provide recommendations on reporting metrics and KPIs
• Complete and provide recommendations on financial statements and corresponding notes
• Assist in producing and presenting financial data for distribution to management, Board of Directors and associated Committees
• Evaluate transactional data, identify needs and make recommendations on procedures to improve data integrity for the various departments
• Assist with, and report on changes and improvements to the database and data warehouse
• Work with the various stakeholders to develop tools and  report design to satisfy organizational reporting requirements

• Coordinate and complete internal and external projects in a timely manner as requested

About You

• University degree with a major in Finance or Accounting, preference will be given to candidates pursuing an accounting designation.
• Minimum of two years of related experience
• Extensive technical background and knowledge
• Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office and Dynamics GP preferred
• Working knowledge in database and data management required
• Experience in working with CRMs preferred
• Ability to understand and juggle the competing priorities of departments across an organization
• Good communication skills and the ability to comprehend instructions and follow through without assistance and/or supervision
• Demonstrated organizational, project and time management skills
• Proven ability to build effective business relationships, both internally and externally
• Ability to function in a continually changing environment is mandatory and must demonstrate strong self-initiative and follow through to completion

Pay Rate

$19 - $23/hour
