About the Opportunity

  • Support the preparation of global legal entity and corporate consolidations on a monthly basis
  • Support the accurate and timely completion of the corporate month end process
  • Prepare balance sheet and income statement month end reconciliations for various Corporate and Elimination companies
  • Book standard and non-standard journal entries for Corporate and Elimination companies
  • Reconcile intercompany balances and transactions on a monthly basis
  • Prepare various Corporate and Elimination company year-end audit packs
  • Prepare annual intercompany elimination proofs for year-end audit
  • Prepare various Corporate and Elimination entity reforecast and budget files
  • Coordinate with divisional & Group colleagues on intercompany translations and related reports
  • Assist with administrative work in Corporate Finance Department as directed by the Senior Manager Financial Consolidation, Director of Finance, or Vice President of Finance
  • Accountable for successful completion of assigned tasks and to proactively ensure work is reviewed with the Senior Manager Financial Consolidation for accuracy and completeness
  • Adopt, practice, and participate in Kaizen principles
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

About You

  • Enrolled in or completion of CPA program. Having successfully completed the consolidations and advanced accounting course preferred
  • Experience in preparing, maintaining, and understanding multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations is an asset
  • Experience in preparing the month end process and preparing month end reconciliations
  • Ability to stay organized and calm while juggling different assignments with different deadlines
  • Consistently proficient, detailed-oriented, and accurate in his/her work
  • Highly teachable with a strong work ethic, and someone who likes to find the answers instead of someone simply telling them
  • Professional communication etiquette required. Ability to fluently read, write and speak English
  • Ability and willingness to learn to use various computer applications that are necessary to perform day-to-day tasks
  • Working proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook (or equivalent email service) is required.
  • Experience with SAP and OneStream is an asset

Salary

$70,000 - $75,000/year
