About the Opportunity

Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of month-end closing, including completion of journal entries and account reconciliations
Prepare and enter routine journal entries
Post and track cash flow disbursements on the cashflow model
Assist Controller with year-end financials for all clients
Assist Controller with annual budget process
Performs various financial month-end and quarterly-end analysis and reporting as directed by the Controller
Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures to Senior Finance manager
Ensure compliance with GAAP principles

About You

B. Comm. or Bachelor in Accounting/Finance, and CPA designation, preferred
7 years minimum hands-on accounting experience
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Advanced MS Excel skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills

Pay Rate
$35/hour
