Business Analyst - Finance - 3 Month Contract to Permanent (Closed)

About the Opportunity

  • Interview business process stakeholders (Finance and Accounting) to understand existing process steps
  • Liaison with the PM team on behalf of the finance & Accounting team to manage expectations for end users in finance
  • Assist the Lead Project Manager in completing SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) documentation for finance processes
  • Work with Finance team to implement Process Improvement Opportunities
  • Development of detailed test scripts, test cases/ scenarios for system testing
  • Documentation of standard operating procedures and development of Training Materials for training sessions and ongoing user reference
  • Backfill support for general finance deliverables as required to ensure Finance Subject Matter Experts are available to the Program when needed

About You

  • Finance designation
  • 5 + years of experience in areas such as cost accounting, planning, budgeting, management reporting and cash management
  • Project experience with implementation of Lease management softwares, accounting systems or implementing CRM software
  • Finance Process improvement experience, in the areas noted above including involvement in system implementation and requirements gathering
  • Experience designing reports and BI requirements, identifying opportunities to streamline reports
  • Internal controls background to support documentation of risks and controls
  • Leasing industry background is a strong asset
