About the Company

Our client is one of the largest entertainment companies, and they are looking to hire an Application Developer .NET.

About the Opportunity

• Pure Back-end role, the App Developer will be responsible for enhancing, maintaining, and supporting their current and future business apps in a .NET, BI and SQL server environments
• The role will have strong communication, and experience with SQL (Tables, views, procedures etc.), C# for backend apps with some web apps, GitLab for search, Jira for tracking time and projects
• Agile experience would be great, they run a self-managed team
• Any experience with AWS Redshift would be a huge plus
• Current Project:
  • Data warehouse reporting
  • Updates to engines to track renewals or customers converting to self-pay
  • New vendors so create new ETL’s

About You

• Strong communication
• 3-4 years of experience with .NET, C#, C++
• SQL (Proficiency in SQL applications, including Enterprise Manager and SQL Query Analyzer), SQL 2019 environments
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
• Self-managed is important
• Experience with AWS cloud database technologies including Aurora and Redshift an asset
• Experience with financial, subscription management and business intelligence applications an asset
• Experience creating database tables; indexes; Transact-SQL; stored procedures; triggers; SSIS/DTS packages; and reporting applications
• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL big plus
• Completion of university or college program in related computer science discipline

Salary Range

$80,000-$90,000/year
