About the Opportunity

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is an integral part of the finance team, reporting to a Director of Accounting. The role responsible for daily management of our accounts receivables and other accounting tasks, as required. This is an entry level accounting position

• Accounts receivable transactions: Posting of daily receipts, deposits, returned payments, payment re-applications and generating the daily billing files
•  Reconciliation of bank accounts daily and credit card accounts monthly
• Organizing and archiving daily confirmation files, output files, and reports daily
• Administrative assistance to finance team as required
• Maintenance of daily/monthly data files
• Other tasks and duties as assigned to support the finance team and department

About You

• 1-2 years’ experience of basic accounting or office experience in industry or combination with post-secondary co-op experience
• Strong computer skills including Excel skills
• Ability to adhere to deadlines and handle multiple tasks and functions
• Critical thinking with the ability to make sound decisions
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Microsoft Office experience with a high efficiency in Excel
• Excellent organizational, time management skills and communications skills

Salary

$50,000/year
