Intermediate Accountant – 2+ Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Reconciling, analyzing and maintaining various GL accounts and subledgers
• Preparation of monthly financial reporting package for our group company based in Europe
• Preparation of analytical working papers
• Assisting with compliance audits/reviews as well as quarter and year-end reporting and forecasting
• Assisting with various accounting projects and initiatives
• Provide assistance with reference to inquiries from internal and external customers and vendors
• Developing ad-hoc reports for our group company as requested
• Assist with payroll and other HR functions
• Project Accounting and controls
• Other duties as required
• This position reports the Business Unit Controller
   

About You

• 2-5 years of experience performing full cycle accounting duties (AP, AR, Collections, bank and balance sheet reconciliations)
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with AccPac is an asset
• Strong Excel skills

Pay Range
$22-$23/hour
