Our client is a TSX listed company in the financial services industry with global operations. They are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst, Tax Planning & Strategy who will be a key member of the Tax Planning and Strategy team working on their global tax strategy, project implementation support, transfer pricing.

About the Opportunity

• Transaction implementation support, liaise with external consultants, prepare step plans etc.
• Tax research and assistance in identifying opportunities to manage global cash tax and ETR
• Be involved with establishing transfer pricing methodologies and maintaining appropriate supporting documentation
• Preparation of Canadian returns including T1134, T106, CbCR etc.
• Provide support to Global tax compliance team on an as needed basis (T2’s, Trust, Partnership returns, Global tax provision)
• Drives process improvements including process mapping, Excel modelling and automation of working papers
• Execute all tax processes in compliance with internal controls
• Other duties as assigned

About You

• CPA designation or in progress
• In-depth Tax course
• 1-3 years of Canadian income tax experience (International tax and transfer pricing experience is an asset)
• Highly skilled in tax technology including but not limited to automation of processes either via excel or automation tools

Salary Range
$90,000 - $95,000/year
