They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for financial reporting and control, tax and compliance, strategic planning and financial Planning & analysis, Treasury and working capital management, capital budgeting, and Risk management.

About the Opportunity

• Lead financial related projects including financial reporting, accounting policies,and process enhancements
• Act as the Finance department subject matter expert on accounting standards, tax, and pension fund reporting matters
• Participate in the implementation of IFRS 17 – Insurance Contract project
• Be the administrator of Risk Integrity IFRS 17 reporting tool once go-live and support the quarterly IFRS 17 financial reporting process
• Support the monthly and year-end financial reporting process including the review of reconciliations
• Manage the annual year end external audit
• Responsible for the review and updating of finance related policies to ensure current best practices
• Provide ad-hoc research and analysis to drive informed decision-making for senior management

About You

• CPA
• 5 years of post-qualification in financial analysisand reporting
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required
• Knowledge of IFRS 17

Salary Range

$85,000 - $90,000/year
