Senior Financial Analyst - 3 Month Contract (Closed)

Our client is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst - Urgent requirement to backfill a resignation - 3 Months.

About the Opportunity

• Month end consolidation & month end results templates
  • Adapt and distribute monthly P&L reporting templates to Commercial Finance
  • Work with brand teams to consolidate Canada’s Financial statements and ensure proper variance analysis has been completed
  • Monthly finance call with  Finance Directors; engaging with Leaders and Finance Directors to gain insight into their business drivers
• Ensure Revenue by Client and Client Profitability files are accurate and tie with ERP
• Monthly analysis on P&L, as well as below the line items and accruals
• Complete the Monthly Financial Report to be distributed to the Region (Americas) Finance Team
• Point of contact for consolidated information as well as ownership over the Consolidated Revenue by Client File
• Monthly finance team meeting presentation compilation
• Organizing the company’s total risks and opportunities tracker through collaboration with brands to gather all of their R&O’s in order to compile into the total Canada view
• Completion of the month-end KPI tracker
• Development and delivery of the Monthly Results Presentation to be distributed to the CFO and other Sr Leaders
• Lead the Original Budget (OB) process
• Process improvement lead through standardization of processes/procedures for the team
• Other ad hoc items analysis

About You

• CA, CPA, or CMA designation preferred
• 5+ years of financial experience, with at least 2 years in FP&A capacity
• Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
• Thorough understanding of the financial process
• Knowledge of accounting practices and principles
• Thrives in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in an organized manner

Pay Rate

$42/hour
