Senior Accountant (Closed)

Our client is currently in need of a 6 month consultant to assist with day to day accounting. As a Senior Accounting you will be responsible for day to day full cycle accounting, including but not limited to monthly financial close and reporting, operational budgets and forecast, capital management, maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley and internal controls compliance.

About the Opportunity

• Working with a number of cross functional teams to complete monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements and related schedules
• Assist the manager with full cycle accounting during month end
• Responsible for complex reconciliations (bank and intercompany, accrual and variance analysis
• Prepare year-end audit working paper files
• Prepares a variety of reports on an ad hoc basis
• Helping with day to day management of internal control processes including SOX
• Responsible for preparation of statutory reports as needed

About You

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting with a CPA designation
• Minimum of 7 years of previous accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently in a face paced environment
• Excellent communication skills to be able to present to senior management
• Experienced with ERP systems such as Oracle, Cognos, SAP or JD Edwards

Pay Rate

$38 - $45/hour
