Manager of Operational Reporting & Analysis (Closed)

Our client is a leader and one of the largest organizations in the real estate industry. They are continuing to grow and are looking to add a Manager of Operational Reporting and Analysis  to their finance team. In this hybrid role you will be the bridge between their property accounting team and their corporate accounting team.

About the Opportunity

• Assist with the design of a management reporting structure that provides timely and meaningful operational information that monitors and tracks organizational accountability
• Assist IT to develop a report that serves as a prelude to the quarter-end result to help address accounting issues ahead of quarter-close
• Review and analysis of periodic property reporting
• Gain insight into owned assets and provide the leadership team with analysis of potential issues or risks
• Build and maintain an inventory of essential reports and ensure their accuracy and integrity
• Design, implement and manage a monthly comprehensive operational reporting package
• Support MD&A, investor presentations
• Ensure timely reporting on KPI and assist in developing a Balanced Scorecard and dashboard
• Set timeline for budgeting cycle and manage deliverables by assisting with input review, monitoring progress and resolving hindering issues
• Review and analyze budgets for completeness and reasonability and explain material variances
• Support the strategic financial planning and aid with potential transaction related analysis
• Design a process for the reforecast

About You

• CPA
• 5+ years of experience in reporting and/or audits (preference for experience within real estate)
• Working experience with JDE is an asset
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to work with all levels of Management

Salary Range

$110,000 - $115,000/year
