IT Infrastructure Lead (Closed)

About the Company   

Our client is a private group of companies with an internal IT MSP group, looking to hire an IT Infrastructure Lead for a full time hybrid onsite position. 

About the Opportunity 

• We are looking for an IT Lead who is used to juggling many projects/priorities/issues and has strong hands-on skills with overall IT infrastructure (server/network/desktop/O365/applications) 

• A lot of the work will revolve around getting various business units and companies onto all the shared IT services (eg M365, ERP, etc) 

• This person will be instrumental in assessing IT infrastructures of the purchased companies (typically smaller companies of 10-50 people), identifying a roadmap on how to move the company onto the shared IT services, and also what needs to happen with the physical IT infrastructure (eg assessing their server rooms, WIFI, etc in their buildings, etc) 

• We are looking for someone who is used to delivering IT projects and owning them to completion (in collaboration with other IT members for implementation) 

• This is both a planning/architecture/design AND hands-on position 

• Someone from an MSP would fit in well as they always have to juggle various projects for their clients 

• We are looking for someone coming from small/midsize companies vs large enterprises because currently there is not a lot of structure/policies/etc in place, this person will help in setting some of those up as they deliver projects 

• This role will include up to 15% travel to local (and some not local) locations to assess IT infrastructure (in acquired companies, or in newly opened locations) 

About You 

• History of progressive technical experience managing IT infrastructure: desktops, servers, networks, M365, cyber, etc 

• Experience initiating, planning, managing and delivering IT infrastructure projects (plan/own/deliver) 

• IT infrastructure architecture/design experience 

• Experience with IT infrastructure in buildings (eg WIFI mesh, server rooms, etc) 

• Experience delivering IT infrastructure solutions in midsize (not large) environments, preferably MSP experience 

• Great communication skills – experience working with business stakeholders directly on understanding their issues/requirements 

• Ability to commute to 404/Aurora Rd 3 days per week 

Bonus Items: 

• Manufacturing/Logistics type industry experience, consulting experience a plus as well 

• Experience in multi-location and multi-entity midsize organizations with M&A activity 

• Good cyber experience 

• Certifications 

Salary Range 

$130,000/year
