About the Opportunity

• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements and compile monthly management reports
• Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and notes
• Prepare drafts of quarterly and annual consolidated MD&A,
• Research new IFRS accounting pronouncements and draft internal accounting memos
• Manage regular updates to complex accounting models
• Record monthly consolidation entries, corporate journal entries and intercompany reconciliations
• Review monthly account reconciliations prepared by Senior Financial Analyst
• Coordinate with external auditors on quarterly reviews and year-end audit
• Prepare supporting data for tax returns for subsidiaries
• Oversees statutory reporting for all legal entities
• Review monthly departmental costs and analyze variances to forecast and budget

About You

• Completed professional accounting designation (CPA)
• Over 8 years’ experience in previous corporate accounting environment with strong knowledge of IFRS
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with great autonomy
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with a large ERP software system – Oracle preferred
• Ability to work well under pressure, change and high ambiguity in a growth stage organization
• Ability to effectively collaborate with others across the organization and build strong relationships in a small team

• Ability to plan, organize work, and make decisions to achieve specific goals and company objectives

Pay Rate

$65/hour
