ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A FANTASTIC GENERAL ACCOUNTANT OPPORTUNITY? Our client is seeking a professional working towards their accounting designation to join their team for a 5 month contract with the potential for it to become permanent.

General Accountant - 5 Month Contract to Permanent

About the Opportunity

• Compile and analyze financial data to prepare entries to accounts
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet and intercompany accounts
• Perform intercompany consolidation and reconciliations
• Prepare and complete account reconciliations
• Maintain fixed assets sub-ledger and reporting
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reporting
• Assist the accounting team in improving processes, providing recommendations, etc.
• Ad-hoc duties and projects as per supervisor

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration
• Working towards a professional accounting designation
• 4-5 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and large ERP (SAP/JDE/Oracle/Netsuite/JDE/MS Dynamics)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Pay Rate

$28 - $32/hour
