Financial Analyst - Treasury - 3 Month Contract (Closed)

Client is looking for a Treasury/Financial Analyst to fill a medical leave.

About the Opportunity

• Prepares monthly/quarterly/annual financial statement close journals and reconciliations, while ensuring compliance to accounting principles and corporate governance
• Resolves all reconciling items from bank reconciliations in a timely manner
• Support Team Lead in analysis all bank related expenses and cash accounts from reporting perspective, prior to month-end close
• Prepares monthly/quarterly debt related schedules and reconcile the balances to the GL
• Monitors and analyzes actual and forecast Treasury expenses; provides a detailed explanation of any significant variances to management
• Liaise with internal and external auditors
• Respond to requests for information and reports
• Maintains appropriate security and retention of Treasury documentation
• Performs other related duties and reports as assigned by management

About You

• 2+ years of experience in Treasury/Accounting Analyst role
• Enrolment in designation
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Quick to learn new systems and processes

Pay Rate

$27 - $30/hour
