Our client is a holding company. They are looking for a Controller to ensure that the Office’s accounting, recording, reporting, forecasting and management of all financial aspects of portfolio companies is executed diligently.

About the Opportunity 

• Financial accounting, reporting, recording and forecasting 
• Assessment, review, establishment (where necessary) and maintenance of record-keeping and financial reporting processes, including month end closing procedures and reconciliations 
• Monthly financial analysis and reporting, planning and cashflow forecasting for all portfolio companies 
• The review, revision (as required) and maintenance of internal controls with the purpose of ensuring accuracy, transparency and effectiveness. 
• Maintaining a forecast of cash requirements, ensuring optimization of cash balances across entities 
• Support the preparation of tax returns, the management of external reviews. Under the direction and supervision of SVP, Finance, this role will: 
• Forecast and test financial covenants 
• Understand and monitor compliance with creditors’ reporting requirements 
• Assist in the management of external reviews, audits and NTRs 
• Support the preparation of tax returns 
• Oversee two direct reports  

About You 

• CPA 
• 5-8 years post-designation experience 
• Hybrid Experience (in-depth experience in a small company) setting process and internal controls 
• Management experience 

Salary Range 

$125,000 - $140,000/year
