Windows 10 Migration Specialist (Closed)

About the Company

Our client is looking for passionate and responsible Service Desk Analysts to assist with a Windows 10 Migration Project. This will be a six-month contract with the possibility of extension.

About the Opportunity

  • Assist the current team in the Windows 10 migration project while offering Deskside Support to existing users as required
  • Work with your assigned Senior Service Desk Analyst to ensure your tasks and schedule is assigned
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems and resolve Tier 1 incidents as pertaining to the migration
  • Escalate Tier 2 incidents as expected
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to work in a critical environment while juggling multiple tasks
  • Demonstrate good time management, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines across multiple projects
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Install applications and computer peripherals using the image as assigned
  • Track and escalate user issues and concerns as it pertains to the migration project
  • Ensure that all tasks are tracked

About You

  • Diploma or Degree in a related field of study
  • 2-5 years of related IT experience
  • Previous Windows 10 Deployment/Migration Experience
  • A+ Certification or any Microsoft certification is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of server operations, infrastructure, web interfaces, and remote access tools
  • Experience supporting Microsoft environments in a service desk or deskside support role
  • Experience with SCCM
  • Experience with Office 2010 / 2013 / O365
  • Knowledge and experience with Active Directory
  • Experience supporting mobile devices Android and iOS
  • Experience working within a Windows, Linux, Mac OS environment
  • Experience supporting PC, printer hardware, VPN, Citrix
  • Knowledge of ITIL Incident Management
  • Knowledge of network security best practices and anti-virus programs
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
