VP, Corporate Controller (Closed)

Our client is a globally privately-owned technology company looking to add a VP, Corporate Controller to their team. This role will oversee the financial reporting, accounting, tax and treasury functions for the company, including all international operations.

About the Opportunity

• Lead and mentor accounting team and support the Senior Leadership Team as needed
• Oversee the accounting for all foreign divisions through the management of third party accounting partners
• Partner with the FP&A team to drive business improvements, deliver management reporting, and complete budgets and forecast
• Oversee the consolidation of the corporate financial statements (for all global entities), including supporting schedules and note disclosures in accordance with IFRS
• Manage the planned transition from reporting in ASPE to IFRS, including identifying areas for policy choices, drafting/reviewing position papers, and corresponding with external auditors to achieve consensus on key decisions
• Manage cash flow, including working capital management and oversee the treasury function 
• Manage relationship with (outsourced) internal audit team
• Oversee global tax compliance and tax returns working with our external tax specialists to ensure compliance Manage the annual audit and external auditors
• Partner with the Senior Leadership team to plan out continued international expansion

About You

• CPA, CA
• 8+ years of progressive financial reporting leadership experience in a high-growth, public company with international operations
• People management experience

Salary Range

$250,000 - $275,000/year
