About the Company  

Our client is a leading provider of specialty pharmacy services and they are looking to hire a Team Lead - IT Support. 


About the Opportunity 

  • The Team Lead will provide a mix of Level 2 hands on technical support  for corporate and branch pharmacy staff via in person, phone, chat or email 

  • This includes a variety of hardware, software and network issues, escalating as appropriate 

  • Common issues include software or network connectivity issues, VPN setup, printing issues, Windows support (including Office, Chrome, Adobe, Visio, Kroll, Remote Desktop), setting up Access Rights 

  • The support will be provided where Level 1 staff are unable to resolve the issue 

  • The Team lead will also provide technical/professional leadership to the technical team, including tracking attendance, delegating duties and tasks within the IT support department, monitoring  the team and providing advice and guidance 

  • Other leadership activities include training new staff members, participate in performance appraisal, manage staff scheduling and perform monthly reviews of department tickets and performance 


About You 

  • Strong knowledge (5+ years) supporting end-user devices (workstation, laptop), software (OS/OS Suite) and peripherals (scanners, printers) 

  • At least 1 year of technical Team Lead experience 

  • Understanding of network protocols 

  • Exposure to modern ticketing applications  

  • Excellent communication skills 

Nice to Have 

  • Experience with cloud-based services 

  • Exposure to MS Azure, Hyper V 

  • Industry-recognized accreditation e.g., CCNA, Network+, Microsoft, etc. 

  • Degree or diploma in IT related program 

  • Hands on experience
