Our client is a growing privately-owned company who specializes in developing and managing real estate properties. They are looking for a Tax Manager to add their expertise for their Finance function.

About the Opportunity

• Taxation compliance, oversight, functions and processes for a large number of legal entities including corporations, trusts, partnerships, foundations and individuals.
• Assist, with the opportunity to oversee the system controls and standards as they related to taxation.
• Assist, with the opportunity to manage and direct tax policies and objectives of the organization.
• Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to various regulatory bodies.
• Assist, with the opportunity to take full responsibility of the research, tax practices and organizational structure to minimize tax liability over the long run; makes recommendations and leads implementation.
• Experience with foreign affiliate structures and reporting requirements is required.
• Working knowledge and expertise with US taxation would be beneficial.
• Ability to liaison effective with external legal counsel and advisors.

About You

• CPA
• Possess CICA In-Depth or equivalent tax course or in progress
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with Canadian and/or US tax compliance

Salary Range
$115,000 - $125,000/year
