Our client is a growing company in the hospitality and food services industry. They are looking for a Tax Analyst to grow with their organization and analyze, maintain and remit tax returns for all commodity taxes. About the Opportunity

• Prepare commodity tax returns
• Monitor all commodity tax cheque requisitions and all commodity tax accounts
• Administer all GST & PST correspondence including communication with relevant ministries
• Prepare and maintain non-resident withholding taxes
• Assist with the management of the commodity audits including preparing responses to queries from federal and provincial tax auditors
• Monitor tax developments and provide guidance as to the potential impact on Recipe and its business

About You

• Enrollment in CPA program is an asset
• Minimum two years experience in a finance position (preparation of tax returns and related documents)
• Strong Excel skills
• JDE experience is an asset
• Strong organization and priority setting skills to coordinate activities for multiple projects
• Ability to work with tight deadlines, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary

$55,000 - $77,000/year
