About the Company   

Our client - a Canadian midsize multi-location organization -  is looking to hire an Azure Specialist for a full time remote position. 

About the Opportunity 

• This role will be responsible system/server administration/management in Azure and some networking support 

• The role will deal with: Azure Virtual Desktop (500+ users across 37 locations), Azure AD, Azure VMs (about 50+), Office 365 

• Some projects coming up are migration from Windows 10 to 11 on desktop, moving to zero trust environment, moving from Cisco Meraki to Fortinet, etc 

• We are looking for someone who is strong in change management, has some exposure to Cyber, and has good communication skills (as this is a remote position) 

• 90% of this role will be spent on Azure, 10% on networking/routing/switching 

• The company does have various vendors they can escalate to in case of any complex issues 

About You 

• Minimum 2+ years of recent senior level Azure management experience 

• Very strong Azure AVD (virtual desktop) – publishing updates through AVD 

• Azure AD 

• Azure VMs 

• Office 365 

• Understanding of routing/switching/networking (VPN / VLAN / routing / switching / firewalls / network segmentation) in multi-location environments 

• Basic cyber skills (eg understanding of MFA, zero trust) 

• Very good English communication skills 

• Ability to work EST business hours 

Bonus Items: 

• Cisco Meraki and/or Fortinet firewall exposure 

• Cyber exposure 

• IAM  / zero trust experience (eg Zscaler) 

• Experience with Windows 11 migration 

Salary Range 

$115,000/year
