About the Opportunity

The Systems/Network Administrator will focus on providing Tier II and III (if required) Level Support to end users and the IT Team. The individual will provide system support and problem resolution related to LAN, WAN, WLAN, Server, Switches/Routers and other technologies.

  • Experience with Broad understanding of complex IT Infrastructure equally with systems and networking
  • Responsible for the on-going maintenance of the company’s LAN/WAN/WLAN/Servers infrastructure
  • Resolve any infrastructure incidents and system disruptions to adhere to the IT Service Level Agreements that are in
  • Provide on-going support on technical projects, including design, development, documentation, analysis and testing of systems and networking infrastructure
  • Provide Tier II and III (when possible) level support to resolve IT infrastructure incidents/tickets
  • Collaborate with the team for systems and data integrations with 3rd party vendors
  • Broad knowledge on infrastructure disaster recovery strategy
  • Participate in the setting up and monitoring of server and network alerts to ensure prime health of the corporate infrastructure
  • Conceptual understanding of Infrastructure Quality Assurance processes, practices and methodologies
  • Project the life span of infrastructure equipment by analyzing the hardware, software and problems reported on all related equipment
  • Meet with IT colleagues, users and stakeholders to understand what new system requirements
  • Build strong relationships with business unites across the organization to best meet company goals and objectives

About You

  • Bachelor Degree in computer science or related field of study is required
  • At least 3 years equivalent professional experience as a Systems/Network Administrator
  • Experience managing Cisco Switches, Routers and Firewalls
  • Experience with Backup Solutions and High Availability environments
  • Experience with SAN and Resource Allocation
  • Experience with Application Support
  • Experience with healthcare applications like PACs Systems, HL7 and DICOM interfaces is preferred but not required
  • Experienced with the day-to-day operations with Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, O365 and Hyper-V and Resource Allocation
  • Healthcare experience is an asset
  • Ability to communicate written and verbal
  • Team player with critical thinking skills
  • Windows Servers any version
