About the Company

Our client is a non-profit organization and they are looking to hire an IT Administrator.

About the Opportunity

The position is responsible for the ongoing development, maintenance, and operation of our client's technical systems including its workstations, telephony, servers and associated software and web-based systems (websites, SaaS products, domains and DNS records)

Set up accounts and workstations, and onboard/offboard system users
Manage software license optimization, procurement and provisioning
Establish and maintain appropriate software and hardware monitoring, intrusion detection, diagnostic tools, and activity logging

Monitor and maintain systems to ensure requirements and performance targets are met
Ensure system and data security, integrity, and availability through implementation of access controls, regular backups, firewalls, antivirus and antimalware, disaster recovery procedures, failover procedures, and cyberthreat and intrusion response procedures
Upgrade systems with new releases and models, and apply available patches

About You

Advanced working knowledge of computer technology, Windows based desktops and servers
Familiarity with O365 and Microsoft Tenant environment, Sharepoint and Teams, Azure AD
Basic scripting (PowerShell) (helping to automate functions)

Experience managing a range of computer systems and software in a multi-user environment
Familiarity with a wide range of Microsoft products and systems
Confidence to jump into unfamiliar situations and start figuring out how to solve problems
General operating systems knowledge

Nice to Haves

Awareness of programming familiarity, particularly scripting
Azure AD with integrated Keeper Security based password management
Power Platform based operations and service delivery software (PowerApps, PowerApps Portals, Power Automations, Power BI)
Experience with VoIP telephone systems

Salary Range

$80,000/year
