About the Opportunity

• Execute various accounting functions, including but not limited to journal entries, account reconciliations, prepaids, fixed asset depreciation, variance analysis
• Support preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Assist with year end review engagement
• Daily bank reconciliation
• Posting and reconciliation of intercompany transactions
• Monthly billings for private label commissions
• Preparation and filing of Canadian and US sales tax
• Compile and upload KPIs in accordance with close deadlines
• Support A/P as required
• Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes while effectively using existing internal systems

About You

• Professional accounting designation – CPA, CGA preferred
• Full accounting cycle experience is an asset
• Sage X3 ERP proficiency is an asset
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Must be detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with minimal supervision

Salary

$60,000 - $70,000/year
