About the Opportunity

This position has duties for several related companies. This includes a manufacturer, a distributor and a real estate entity

• Preparing and posting entries into two different accounting systems
• Monthly reconciliations including bank reconciliations, daily cost accounting and financial accounting
• Maintain subledgers, assisting the Controller and Management with annual audit preparation
• Assisting in the annual audit by supplying information to our auditors
• Preparing ad-hoc reports, assisting in variance analysis, sharing in the completion month end processing
• Attention to detail is critical as well as being able to use Microsoft Excel

About You

• At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in accounting or finance
• Manufacturing industry experience asset
• Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Salary

$50,000 - $55,000/year
