Our client is a well-established public accounting firm, this accounting and business advisory firm are looking to hire a Staff Accountant to be part of their audit team of seasoned professionals.

About the Opportunity

• Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with clients, co-workers and all levels of staff and management
• Perform compilation & assurance engagements
• Effectively and independently complete engagements
• Deliver completed files for review on a timely basis
• Prepare personal, corporate and trust income tax returns along with other tax information forms
• Conduct individual and corporate tax filing and planning
• Dealing with tax authorities

About You

• Preparation of notice to reader and corporate tax returns(T2)
• Bookkeeping experience
• Assisting with CRA queries
• Preparing personal income tax returns
• Some review/ audit experience
• University degree
• CPA In Progress or recently designated
• 1-2+ years of experience in a public accounting firm, with a progression in complexity of responsibilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary

$50,000 - $65,000/year
