About the Opportunity

• You will work on an on-going project focused on ERP middle tier / abstraction layer and add continuous updates and functionality development as a member of the team
• Designing, developing and implementing SSRS reporting for Business Intelligence, Financial and Operational Reporting
• Strong understanding of SQL performance optimization, capable of developing complex SQL statements and stored procedures
• Create custom reports in SSRS or other reporting tools, data analysis, software/hardware issue resolution, maintenance of web and/or desktop applications and integration of data across all systems
• Responsible for data maintenance of existing SQL databases
• Create, modify, and design SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports, data exports and imports
• Analyze, audit, modify, and amend data in systems as requested by other team members and to better serve the needs of the business
• Develop, implement, maintain, and optimize stored procedures and functions
• Diagnose and resolve application issues, application deployment and application configuration
• Experience creating data flows and process flow diagrams, technical requirements documents, and product support documents
• Automation of standard Financial, Business Intelligence and Operational reports
• Responsible for maintaining existing reporting
• Participate in requirements gathering and logical/physical design of data needed to support reporting needs
• Assist in and/or complete all documentation needed for stored procedures used in reporting
• Design and development of SSRS reports based upon data objects

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in design, development & deployment of SQL Reporting Services (SSRS 2014 or greater)
• .NET development skills to the extent of creating reports and integrating them with out .NET code and stream it to the UI once generated.
• You must be comfortable working with data sources such as JSON, SQL, APIs etc.
• Background in statistical analysis and reporting of key performance indicators
• Proficiency in MS Excel or Crystal Reports is a plus
• Power BI is a plus
• Experience utilizing data Virtualization software to present data is a plus
• Experience in converting reports from legacy reporting tools to SSRS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience building reports of a financial or operational nature
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• This is a remote opportunity
