Sr Systems/Network Engineer (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• This position will be a 50/50 split between Systems (Servers) and Network administration
• The environment includes 200+ Windows and Linux servers, VMware, Office 365, Palo Alto firewalls and private cloud
• Implement and support the Technology related to the connectivity and performance of networking, security, and telephone systems across the Enterprise
• Ensure the stable operation of IT assets and services. This includes recommending, developing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing networking data communications and telecommunications, and related technologies
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, including service desk tickets, daily tasks and projects, while working closely with other team members

About You

• University Degree in Technology/science/math-related disciplines
• Proven senior level Server Administration skills in the Windows ecosystem including web (IIS), database (MSSQL or other), VMWare
• Strong Networking experience, including routing/switching/firewalls
• Understanding of best practices/processes (ITIL)
• Good communication skills
• Located anywhere in the GTA within 90min drive to 404/York Mills
• Linux/Unix server administration and Office 365 experience would be great assets
• Palo Alto firewall and Azure experience would be great assets
• Voice/telecom exposure and Security experience would be great assets

Salary

$95,000 - $110,000/year
