Sr Manager, IT Services (Closed)

About the Company   

Our client is a large private company, and they are looking to hire a Manager, IT Support. 

About the Opportunity 

• This position will report to the Director of IT and will be managing a team providing onsite support to internal users across Canada 

• The company has a separate Service Desk which does not report to this role 

• This team will be taking escalations from service desk (for desk-side support), as well as taking walk-ins 

• Can be called 'boots on the ground' extension of the service desk 

• This person will be tasked with establishing processes and KPIs, and be more connected with the user base  

• This team is the 'ear to the ground' of the business users as they see them face to face 

About You 

• Experience with managing IT Support teams 

• Experience mentoring/coaching IT Support analysts and serving as escalation point 

• Strong understanding of ITIL and IT Service KPIs/reporting/processes 

• Proven experience with IT service software (e.g., FreshService, ServiceNow, etc.) 

• Ability to commute to Mississauga office 3 days per week 

• Good communication and presentation skills - this role will communicate with senior leadership/executives 

Bonus Items: 

• Experience working in multi-location / mulit-timezone organizations 

• Experience managing distributed teams 

Salary Range 

$130,000/year
