Sr. IT Manager

About the Company   

Our client is an independent boarding school looking to hire a Sr. IT Manager.

About the Opportunity 

• On a daily basis they expect this person will be responsible for people management, creating cohesiveness within the team, provide leadership, coaching/mentoring/growing the team, performance review, etc 

• Also should have very strong hands on technology experience where this person is focused on managing the over all IT infrastructure for 2 locations. 

• This manager needs to have the ability to guide the team in terms of handling/supporting daily operations, work on new projects, upgrades of systems, networks and cloud Azure infrastructure. 

About You 

• Strong people management skills – performance review, leadership, coaching/mentoring, hiring/firing, building team 

• An IT generalist 

• Exp in O365 support/administration 

• Windows servers – hands on exp 

• Networking supporting – LAN, WAN, SD-WAN 

• Knowledge on security 

• Good communication skills

• Ability to commute 100% to Aurora office 

Bonus Items: 

• Exp in education institutes or similar space 

• ITIL Certification 

Working hours / shifts / OT expected: 9am to 5pm

Salary Range 

$110,000/year
