About the Company  
Our client is a crown corporation and "government business enterprise" that is looking to hire a Senior Applications Analyst (Data).

About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Section Manager, Data Infrastructure & Reporting in Project Services the Applications Data Analyst will contribute by developing custom reports, supporting web applications and supporting existing business applications including Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software used by the company

Responsibilities include: (Not Limited to)
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated reports using Microsoft Reporting Services, Power BI and other reporting software as required
Work collaboratively with others during project development & execution and during day-to-day application support
Current projects include decommissioning, refurbishment of some facilities and other large infrastructure portfolios

About You

• Minimum 2+ (Junior/intermediate) and 6+ (Seniors) years of relevant Data Analysis, reporting tools experience and Applications support from a data perspective
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Develop T-SQL scripts for management of an integrated MSBI data warehouse
• Experience with Power BI (Prefered) or Tableau. (Visualisation/Automated Reports)
• Experience with ETL
• Experience with Project Management Services / Controls
• University Degree
• Ability to commute to Courtice location 3 days/week

Bonus Items

• Certification in various IT areas such as cloud computing (esp. Azure), application development, database programming & management and Project Management or Project Controls certification by recognized authorities or companies is an asset
• Project management experience would be considered an asset
• Develop and administer Object-Oriented multi-tiered web applications (in Java or C#), JavaScript and HTML
• Apply data analytics, machine learning and AI using programming languages such as Python and Julia
• Application of various software such as Microsoft DevOps, Microsoft Visual Studio and Git, C#/ VB.NET, Visual Studio .NET, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Work with Asset Suite 7+, Primavera P6, and/or Hexagon EcoS

Salary Range
$120,000/year
