Solution Architect (Closed)

About the Company  

Our client is a successful and growing technology company and they are looking to hire a Solution Architect. 

About the Opportunity 

• This role will be a part of the Java development team which is about 10-15 developers 

• The company right now is implementing Springboot and is continuing to develop on AWS 

• This role will be evaluating and modifying current architecture, work on new functionality design, guide the teams on technical items, and will participate in hands-on coding (this is not a fully hands-off position, the expectation is that whenever needed this person can jump on and help the development efforts) 

About You 

• Strong progressive senior level J2EE hands-on development experience (web) – JSF, JSP, etc. 

• Experience developing using Springboot is a must (Webfulx is a big bonus) 

• Proven architecture/design experience in multi-tier transactional web applications/platforms - performance, security, reliability 

• Proven cloud design/architecture experience (AWS preferred) 

• Strong SQL/RDBMS 

• Strong REST API understanding and experience (understanding API maturity levels, etc) 

• Smaller company experience – wearing multiple hats, more agile, less process 

• Enterprise integration / messaging understanding – eg Mulesoft and similar products 

• Real estate or financial industry experience 

• MongoDB / NoSQL 

Salary Range 

$115,000 - 130,000/year
