About the Company

Our client is an accountable non-profit corporation in the legal field, and they are looking to hire a Service Desk Analyst to join their team.

About the Opportunity

  • Support all network printers, troubleshoot installation and configuration issues, configure new network printers, place service calls where applicable
  • Assist with remote office moves
  • Assist with IT projects in the remote offices with the coordination between HQ and buildings managers/contractors
  • Assist with supporting wired and wireless local area network and Internet in the remote offices
  • Ensure that all call tickets are updated, as well as closing call tickets and follow up with end users
  • Accepts all incidents and requests from end users setting realistic expectations for resolution
  • Escalate all unresolved issues to IT Operations and Application teams, along with other company support teams
  • Install new images, place service calls with Vendor/Service Provider where applicable
  • Perform user account management and provide solutions over the phone and email
  • Support incident requests for all workstation environments, such as MS Office, File system, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint and Citrix
  • Support all Hardware, Software, networking, and phone incident requests
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose computer issues

About You

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Computer Science degree, diploma is required
  • Working from the Office in Downtown Toronto as needed - A Double Vaccination is required
  • 5+ years IT helpdesk support experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 2007/2010/2013, Microsoft Active Directory, User account management, File and printer management
  • Strong knowledge of end user devices: Windows 7, Windows 10, iPad, iPhone, Android phones and tablets
  • Experience with using and troubleshooting Outlook 2007/2010/2013 within a network environment (permissions, calendar sharing, delegation)
  • Experience with SharePoint 2007/2013/1016 and Citrix, Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online and Teams is an asset
  • Basic knowledge of network and VoIP systems would be highly desired
  • MCSA, MCSE, MCITP certifications, is an asset
  • Past experience with inventory analyst is an asset
