About the Company
Our client is a leading distributor of technology products to resellers and system builders across Canada. They are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant who will be responsible for developing and co-developing tax planning and related modelling, projected cash tax and effective tax rate analysis, utilization of foreign tax attributes, etc.

About the Opportunity

• Supervises and assists with preparation of Canadian tax compliance requirements (50%)
• Develops tax planning projects with Manager and Director of Taxes (10%)
• Review income tax provisions. This includes overall reasonableness, journal entries, purchase price accounting adjustments, deferred taxes, financial statement disclosures, ASC 740 tax reserve analysis and provision to return analysis (10%)
• Develops appropriate tax modelling for specified market/country (10%)
• Assist with Canadian direct tax audit defense – (10%)
• Supervises transfer pricing requirements throughout specified market/region (i.e., Americas, Europe and/or Asia Pacific). (5%)
• Assists Tax Manager/Senior Manager/Director with special projects duties as assigned (5%)

About You

• CPA
• 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience

Salary Range
$90,000 - $95,000/year
