Senior Systems and Network Administrator (Closed)

About the Company

Our client is located in Markham, Ontario, and they are looking to hire a Senior Systems and Network Administrator to join their project team.

About the Opportunity

• The Senior Systems and Network Administrator will provide hands-on technical expertise and leadership in initiating, designing, planning, implementing, and maintaining the health and security of the networks and computing environments
• This includes network integration and administration (including security), systems and database administration, and implementation of Disaster Recovery solutions

About You

• 7+ years' of related Systems and Network Administrative experience, including Unix, Linux and Windows systems administration
• In-depth knowledge of Information Technology, especially in large enterprise systems infrastructure
• Strong exposure to networking concepts, design and administrative tools
• Strong exposure to Firewalls (Checkpoint) design, implementation and administration
• Basic DB administration experience (Oracle preferred)
• Exposure to Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems is considered an asset
• Exposure to SAS (assist in setting it up, build an infrastructure to support the environment) is considered an asset
• Phone/voice administration experience is considered an asset
• Experience with office tools (Cisco phone systems, tele/video conferences, WebEx meetings, photocopier and fax machines) is an asset
