Senior Regional Controller (Closed)

About the Company

Our client is a large transportation organization and they are looking to hire a Senior Regional Controller. This role will be the main lead in helping supervise the general accounting staff. This role will also supervise the preparation of the Canadian operations Financial Statements, month end variance reporting packages and annual budgeting processes.

About the Opportunity

• Prepare the monthly financial statement and month end reporting packages
• Help lead the financial component of the annual business plan package
• Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled
• Participate in the review of business acquisitions
• Undertake financial analyses of specific operational issues as directed, including preparing customer contract bid pricing models
• Support the Director of Finance, General Manager and Canadian operations teams in helping their achievement of financial goals
• Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and general accounting staff

About You

• CPA or Equivalent years experience
• Experience with full cycle accounting
• Experience with preparing full financial statements
• Supervisory experience is an asset

Salary Range

$100,000 - $120,000/year
