Senior Property Accountant

About the Company 
Our client is a real estate management organization. They are looking for a Senior Property Accountant who will be responsible for a broad range of financial accounting responsibilities as it relates to their commercial real estate portfolio.

• Maintain G/L and working files for all properties by recording and posting month-end close entries.
• Balance sheet, bank and HST reconciliations.
• Preparation of cash flows, distributions, and contributions to owners.
• Prepare monthly Property reporting packages, variance analysis and shortfall analysis.
• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts for the property with supporting schedules and variance analysis. Provide support to property audits.
• Prepare Financial and CAM statements and tenant year-end billings.
• Financial reporting, budget planning, forecasting, and refining or streamlining accounting policy and procedures where necessary.

• A University degree in Business/Accounting
• 3-5 years’ experience in commercial property accounting
• Completion of or working towards a CPA designation

Salary Range 
$$85,000 - $95,000/year
