About the Opportunity

• Manage and develop direct reports, providing technical advice as well as coaching and performance
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
• Coordinate with property management to ensure that Owner reports are produced accurately and on-time, Prepare budgets accurately and on time, provide analysis on monthly/quarterly basis
• Review income statement, balance sheet, cash flow analysis, and detailed variance analysis
• Prepare year-end audit package and entity financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
• Work with the full accounting cycle, including daily bank reconciliation, journal entries, general ledger, recovery, accounts payable, accounts receivable, year-end billing processes.
• Assist with the acquisition and disposition of properties as required
• Ensure that all regulatory and government returns and reporting (monthly/quarterly GST/HST, annual returns) are filed on time.

About You

• CPA
• 5 years’ of progressive accounting experience within the commercial real estate industry
• Understanding of accounting standards (ASPE / IFRS) and internal controls

Salary Range

Up to $85,000/year
