Senior Project Accountant (Closed)

Our client is a large real estate company. They are currently seeking a Senior Project Accountant to oversee and assist in the development of various portfolios including both commercial and residential properties.

About the Opportunity

• Oversee the full accounting cycle for multiple development projects
• Work with development finance team to analyze actuals against budget
• Prepare internal and external partner reporting for each project including support for GL balances
• Liaise and work with other departments and external partners to perform accounting tasks and ad hoc analyses of development projects
• Perform monthly calculations, reconciliations and recording of revenues, various fees, interest and commissions for each project
• Perform timely month-end close and ensure recording all pertinent transactions including setting up monthly accruals
• Perform regular bank and trust deposits reconciliations
• Prepare and process cash calls, record and reconcile project distributions/contributions to ensure sufficient project liquidity
• Assist in cash flow reconciliations and analysis
• Provide support to the audit and tax teams, respond to queries
• Assist in supervising junior staff as needed
• Assist in monthly compliance reporting to lenders, government, partners 

About You

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• CPA in progress
• Project Accounting experience
• Full Cycle Accounting experience

Salary Range

$75,000 - $85,000/year
